Business Analyst

About the Role

Complexas is seeking a business analyst to work alongside multinational clients who are considering major investments in challenging locations.

 

The role will involve obtaining information on the political and business environments of various projects in order to address the significant business risks facing our clients.

 

You will be responsible for carrying out research using open-source resources, with a particular focus on real-time social media monitoring, to assist our clients. You will also collaborate with experts in-country.

 

You will be required to analyse your findings to identify key data points, information, and insights to support our clients’ decision-making. You will be expected to regularly communicate your analysis to the client via in-person briefings, written reports, and other client deliverables.

About You

You will succeed in this role if you:

 

  • Have a well-developed analytical ability.

  • Have strong written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating to a range of stakeholders.

  • Have experience carrying out open-source investigations.

  • Are curious about and comfortable working on complex problems without clear solutions.

  • Are rigorous and have good attention to detail.

 

You will be a particularly good fit for this role if you have:​

  • Knowledge and experience working with multinational organisations in the extractive and infrastructure industries.

  • Previous experience using social media listening tools and technology for research.

How to Apply

  • This role is full-time (40hrs/pw) and remote, although there will be twice-monthly meetings in London.

  • There will likely be a requirement for occasional travel.

  • Compensation will be decided on a case-by-case basis, depending on experience. However, we aim to pay competitively.
